This is my recipe for a rich, indulgent, hot fudge sauce

Ingredients

  • 150 g 150 Good-Quality Dark Chocolate, Chopped

  • 75 g 75 Unsalted Butter

  • 300 g 300 Granulated Sugar

  • 250 ml 250 Double Cream

  • 1 tsp 1 Vanilla Extract

  • ¼ tsp ¼ Salt

Directions

  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
  • Add the sugar, continuing to stir until it’s fully incorporated.
  • Gradually pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a low simmer. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt.
  • Allow the hot fudge sauce to cool for a few minutes before serving.
