Ingredients
1 Can 1 Sweetened Condensed Milk (Approx 400g)
2 tbsp 2 Unsalted Butter
Salt, Optional
Directions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and unsalted butter.
- Microwave the mixture on high for 2 minutes, stopping to stir after every 30 seconds to prevent overflowing and ensure even cooking.
- After microwaving, carefully remove the bowl (it will be hot) and stir the mixture well until it’s smooth and well combined. If desired, add a pinch of salt and stir it in for a slightly salted caramel flavour.
- Allow the sauce to cool slightly before using, it will thicken as it cools.
